GROWN UPS KNOW WHY WE NEED GOVERNMENT AND TAXES!

The Dow Jones is no longer a true economic indicator.

       With the advent of the CLASS WAR on the middle class by outsourcing jobs, the Dow Jones no longer indicates the state of the economy.  Previously, if the DJ average was up, it meant companies were producing HERE, in the U S of A, but now companies downsize, layoff, and outsource the work so American workers, who pay most of the taxes, are left out in the cold.
       Corporations already pay almost no tax and the wealthy pay a lower tax rate that the rest of us, but that isn't good enough.  CEO's get excessive salaries while they lobby to decrease minimum wage.  Rush Limbaugh gets $20,000.00 an hour to tell people how to think and act.  American companies have turned on the working class, so it is time to do the same.
       WE NEED TO START BOYCOTTING THE CORPORATIONS!!  DO WITHOUT THE LATEST GIZMO FOR A WHILE.  BARTER, DON'T BUY.  RECYCLE, REUSE, REPURPOSE!!!!!!! Take the bus, ride a motorcycle or bicycle.  Stop giving your money to the people who are destoying America!
      If the unthinkable happens in November then we need to stage a countrywide general strike.  It worked in France, bet it would work here!

        That's what will occur if the Tea Party Pubs get into power.  Listen to the comments and plans of the Pubs (remember Glen Beck is the messiah or (maybe Louis XVI?) and morally superior) and you will see why the interment camps have been built.  For those who become homeless and jobless from the spending reductions, there will need to be a place to put all these people so there are not mobs of people congregating and getting angrier over the situation, possibly causing problems for the elite to move around town.
      Think about how the coal miners existed in the early 20th century and you will see the model for corporate employment for the few jobs that will be left in this country once the 403 billionaires running the  Republican party will be in charge.  A West Virginia candidiate is worried about repealing the inheritance tax, since he got his money from daddy, not caring about the 8.8% unemployment or the $38,000.00 median income, or any way to improve the situation.
      There will be moral dictatorship invoked as the culture warriors reset the moral standards for all of us and tell what religion is allowed and how we will be permitted to worship.  Personal conduct will he examined so people act as the Tea Partiers are going to tell us to.  No one can tell therm anything, because we don't really understand, yet they will infringe on as many rights and freedoms as they can in the name of their cause and morality.
     All networks will be shut down except for Foxrepublican news and Dr Goebbels AKA Rush Limbaughasshole.  Adolf Boehner would be a figure head, as he is one of the major collaborators with the elite, running to do their bidding so he may get a scrap.
     Cameras will be placed in all households so the culture police can be sure everyone is behaving as they should under Republica Law.
   I'm sure there are more ideas out there, hopefully we will never find out.

US Business; RECORD PROFITS!!! US Unemployment; RECORD LEVELS!!

        The Dow Jones is no longer a bellweather for the economy, at least the "working class" economy.  Previously, if companies posted profits, it was assumed that there was full US employment.  Now companies manufacture overseas, so there are no jobs for the workers, yet the executives are raking it all in and unemployed workers are open targets for the Republican blame machine.
       P. S. ...there is still a bunch of oil in the Gulf.....!

said in Pittsburgh...then maybe all the elected officials and especially those who have been in DC for many years should make a gesture and forego their salaries for a month or two or three.  Maybe they would get a taste of what losing your income is like (job or unemployment benefits), although I doubt they would even notice.
How can someone in an expensive suit and so anti working people, have any connection to the people who (probably) helped to elect him.  Boehner wants to raise the retirement age.....maybe if he'd ever done any honest labor he might rethink that.  I am so sick of people who know nothing about the plight of the working class who continue to act like it's our fault. 
Bush let all the jobs go overseas and let the economy be plundered by the elite.

THIS OIL DISASTER WILL BE THE END OF THE GULF WETLANDS

This spill will result in the death of the tidal wetlands of whatever parts of the Gulf Coast are contaminated. Remember they are still cleaning up from the Valdez incident in Alaska (you know, "selly outie Sara's" state) and Exxon has dodged the bill and actually is still keeping litigation out of court. So how is BP with its miserly, antiquated methods and equipment going to clean up such delicate marshlands?
The cold truth is, this spill is going to change the course of history, severly damage the planetary ecology, and hasten the demise of mankind, all in the name of MAKING A BUCK!!!
The hurricanes this year will send the oil globally which will seal the fate of the oceans. Hope you don't like to eat fish because they're all going to be gone.

The price for this catastrophe should be that they lose all American interests. We should have a similar set up like in Alaska where everybody gets a check from the oil company. Jimmy Carter tried to set us in the right direction to avoid the situation we are in now. Ronald Reagen stopped most of the energy policies of Mr. Carter and that has lead to the oil companies and their unpatriotic Republican pawns making the terrorists rich and able to use our own addiction to oil and money against us. Of course its ok to do most anything as long someone can make a buck, right Rush?

THIS OIL DISASTER WILL HAVE GLOBAL RAMIFICATIONS

It's become obvious that this spill will be ongoing through hurricane season. The mediocre, slow paced, (like the Valdez incident), and low budget attempts by the highly profitable and environmentally irresponsible corporation, BP, will be unsuccessful. BP's main worry is Publicity more so that the actual clean up. The monetary limit of liability for BP is a pittance compared to the cost of the clean up. To add insult to injury, costs will rise due to the disruption of oil supplies, so BP will make even more money while entire ecosystems and livelihoods are wiped out. Oh yeah, remember, it wasn't really their fault anyway...right?? But they will be responsible for the GLOBAL damage done by this incident.
And gee, where' are all the Republicans with their 'drill drill drill' litany??? Are they truly going to try to do anything??? I think not. I mean it costs money to clean stuff up...Of course Pubs believe in killing most wildlife anyway, so I'm sure they won't be concerned.

GULF OIL SPILL......

This is the start of things that no one knew or wants to know are coming. If we had listened 30 years ago this would have NEVER have happened. The oil companies are going to get richer off this event and are responsible for much more of what is wrong on the planet at this time. I hope the proponents of more drilling are happy. Maybe we need to drill some peoples heads and see if we can find any IQ at all.

1. Once reform is fully implemented, over 95% of Americans will have health insurance coverage, including 32 million who are currently uninsured.2

2. Health insurance companies will no longer be allowed to deny people coverage because of preexisting conditions—or to drop coverage when people become sick.3

3. Just like members of Congress, individuals and small businesses who can't afford to purchase insurance on their own will be able to pool together and choose from a variety of competing plans with lower premiums.4

4. Reform will cut the federal budget deficit by $138 billion over the next ten years, and a whopping $1.2 trillion in the following ten years.5

5. Health care will be more affordable for families and small businesses thanks to new tax credits, subsidies, and other assistance—paid for largely by taxing insurance companies, drug companies, and the very wealthiest Americans.6

6. Seniors on Medicare will pay less for their prescription drugs because the legislation closes the "donut hole" gap in existing coverage.7

7. By reducing health care costs for employers, reform will create or save more than 2.5 million jobs over the next decade.8

8. Medicaid will be expanded to offer health insurance coverage to an additional 16 million low-income people.9

9. Instead of losing coverage after they leave home or graduate from college, young adults will be able to remain on their families' insurance plans until age 26.10

10. Community health centers would receive an additional $11 billion, doubling the number of patients who can be treated regardless of their insurance or ability to pay.11

Blue Cross has just announced that it's immediately raising premiums charged to hundreds of thousands of individual customers by as much as 39%—even though their parent company's profits soared to a record $4.7 billion last year.2

Even worse, the insurer has so far refused to explain why they're increasing their rates, and warned that they might do so again this year without warning.

The Obama administration is demanding answers from Anthem Blue Cross, and Congress has opened an investigation.3 But Blue Cross is only going to respond if this story becomes a major public-relations problem for them.

So it's time to turn up the heat. Let's join the growing call for an explanation and send a powerful public message that these abuses by Big Insurance are unacceptable.

These latest rate increases in California—reportedly the largest ever by Blue Cross for individual policyholders in the state—are yet another powerful example of how badly broken our health care system is and how desperately we need to hold Big Insurance accountable for exploiting their customers.

Anthem Blue Cross's parent company made record profits last year despite losing 1.4 million customers—increasing their profit margins by cherrypicking the healthiest people to insure.4

Then they can turn around and dramatically increase the rates they charge to the customers they've kept, because there are almost no rules governing rate increases. In fact, the company doesn't even have to publicly reveal how many customers' rates they've increased, or by how much.

The good news is that Kathleen Sebelius, President Obama's Secretary of Health and Human Services, is already publicly demanding answers from the company. And the House Energy and Commerce Committee has announced plans to hold hearings to investigate.
